Honor Killing Ditinjau Dari Perspektif Feminisme Multikulturalisme (Kasus Maryam H. di Jerman)

This research is aimed at analysing phenomenon of honour killing, the case of Maryam H, an afghani origin who migrated to Germany. She was killed by her brothers because she was accused of violating norms and rules of conduct of behaviour as an Afghani women should behave. At first, she went to Germany to pursue asylum to be free from Taliban government oppression and Afghani culture which restrict her freedom, but ironically, she was killed for the reason of honour killing. Struggle for woman equality has been developed since the 18th century, after the French revolution, and has achieved significant progress. But in some developing countries, such as Afghanistan, the situation is far below the expected. Feminism means struggle not only to equalize women and men but also face cultural, ethnic, and religious obstacles, as the case of honour killing of Maryam H that represents thousand cases, mostly in third world.
