Abstract

This research aims to analyze the involvement of BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) in resolving the Russia-Ukraine conflict which will take place between 2022-2023. BRICS, as an association of developing countries, seeks to strengthen their position on the international stage through economic and political collaboration. The Ukraine crisis has tested solidarity and coordination among BRICS members, with Russia directly involved in the conflict, while other countries tend to maintain a neutral position. This research uses a multi-track diplomacy approach and international political economy concepts to explore how BRICS can act as a mediator in this conflict. The research results show that despite differences in interests among members, BRICS is committed to promoting peaceful solutions through dialogue and negotiation, and strives to create a more just and inclusive world order. This research is expected to provide new insights into shifting global power dynamics and the role of BRICS in international governance.
